Governments seek funding from PPIAF to help them explore the full range of options for public-private partnerships. Activities to develop recommendations for infrastructure development strategies account for 38 percent of the PPIAF portfolio on average. By the end of fiscal 2007 PPIAF had supported the development of more than 100 sector laws and reform strategies in the water, power, gas, telecommunications, and transport sectors.
