The largest share of PPIAF funding, 36 percent since inception, goes to multisector activities, those that transfer lessons and experience across sectors.

Grants for multisector activities support governments as they create public-private partnership units or start infrastructure development funds. These grants have also helped build regulatory capacity in individual countries or through cross-border initiatives.
