PPIAF

A small share of PPIAF’s portfolio goes to activities in the solid waste sector. These are aimed at helping governments develop legal, regulatory, and financial frameworks to improve the collection and disposal of solid waste. In Afghanistan, for example, PPIAF is helping a municipality develop a strategy that includes outsourcing some landfill and collection services.
