 The continuing growth in PPIAF’s Sub-Saharan Africa portfolio can be attributed in part to more active outreach and dissemination from its two regional offices, in Nairobi, Kenya, and in Dakar, Senegal. Through active partnerships with regional organizations, PPIAF leverages existing efforts to improve and expand infrastructure services.
In fiscal 2007 PPIAF directed 44 percent of new funding to activities in Sub-Saharan Africa. To read more about its activities in the region in its 2007 annual report, please click here.
Activities in Sub-Saharan Africa have accounted for 33 percent of PPIAF’s portfolio since inception.
