Lorenzo Bertolini, Regional Program Leader for West and Central Africa
Lorenzo joined PPIAF in 2005, having previously worked at the World Bank on strengthening regulatory frameworks and piloting output-based aid subsidy schemes for the delivery of basic services. Before joining the World Bank, he worked in the International Finance Corporation’s Power Department, where he analyzed international trends in electricity markets, including regulatory regimes and investment climate issues. Lorenzo holds graduate degrees in international relations and economics from Università di Bologna and Johns Hopkins University.
