East Asia and Pacific Staff Profiles Paul Reddel, Regional Program Leader for East Asia and Pacific Paul joined PPIAF in October 2005. He has extensive experience in senior infrastructure and project finance advisory roles in Asia and the Pacific. He advised sponsors on the development, implementation, and financing of major infrastructure transactions spanning a wide variety of sectors, including transport, energy, water, and social infrastructure. Paul also spent several years with the Australian state government treasury department as director of infrastructure. He has a Master of Business Management from Queensland University of Technology. Hope Gerochi, Program Analyst Hope, a Filipino national, joined PPIAF in 2005. Previously she worked on a World Bank- and PPIAF-funded study, Philippines: Meeting Infrastructure Challenges, as a short-term consultant for the Infrastructure Unit of the World Bank’s Manila office. She also worked as a research analyst for the government think tank Philippine Institute for Development Studies, where she was involved with research on human development and infrastructure. She has a master’s in development economics and a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from the University of the Philippines.
