October 14, 2009

Are you looking for sample power purchase agreements for a small-scale power project? Are you seeking a sample toll road concession agreement, a precedent for a wastewater build-operate-transfer (BOT) project, or perhaps a checklist for drafting a dispute resolution clause? Do you need help with drafting terms of reference for transaction advisers on a public-private partnership (PPP) project? Or are you searching for precedents to help in reviewing a legal framework PPPs or a regulatory framework for the telecom sector?

Help is at hand - at the World Bank and PPIAF PPP in Infrastructure Resource Center for Contracts, Laws and Regulation (PPPIRC) found at www.worldbank.org/pppiresource.  It was formerly known as the Law and Infrastructure Web site.

PPPIRC was created by the World Bank’s Legal Department with funding from PPIAF and in collaboration with the World Bank’s Sustainable Development Department.

Focused on developing countries and drawing on World Bank Group expertise, PPPIRC is aimed at facilitating good practices. It guides project managers and clients through key issues relating to the design, development, and legal structuring of PPP projects and infrastructure reform projects.  It includes documents in English, French, and Spanish.
