PPIAF Annual Report
PPIAF continues its strategic focus on Sub-Saharan Africa, directing its greatest-ever amount of funding to the region in fiscal 2009. The region’s 32 new activities received PPIAF grants totaling US$7.6 million, roughly 50 percent of the US$15.3 million in country- and region-specific commitments for fiscal 2009 (up from 45 percent in fiscal 2008). Managing Contingent Liabilities in Public-Private Partnerships

Dakar-Diamniadio Toll Highway
In 2007 PPIAF approved a $250,000 grant to support the establishment of the institutional and regulatory framework for the Dakar-Diamniadio Toll Highway project. The transport sector, specifically roads, is a priority infrastructure sector for the Government of Senegal. The project has now been recognized for its innovation. Learn more.
