Cross-Regional : Enabling Private Sector Participation in the Caribbean Water Sector

The objective of this activity is to enable the governments of key Caribbean nations to advance private sector participation and private finance in the water supply and sanitation sector. This will be done by addressing essential operational and financial efficiencies that could boost private sector involvement, utility creditworthiness and strengthen utility service delivery. The technical assistance will also cover policy dialogue and capacity building customized to specific country needs, while still promoting regional synergies and scaling up opportunities towards building resilient and efficient water utilities capable of leveraging private capital and delivering high quality, universal and sustainable water supply and sanitation services.
