Türkiye : Enhancing the Creditworthiness for Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation

The objective of this activity is to support Armenia’s transmission system operator, High-Voltage Electric Networks (HVEN), in taking the first steps towards the mobilization of commercial capital to finance its investments. In particular, the activity will:
i.    Develop capital investment plans based on different tariff scenarios, and
ii.    Support the update of the operator’s corporate code to allow for options to issue commercial debt.
This activity will lay the groundwork for a subsequent phase of the World Bank’s technical assistance aimed at helping HVEN get access to commercial financing through support of an application to obtain a credit rating and a pre-feasibility study for a pilot commercial financing transaction.
