BANGLADESH: PPP Program

This Activity aimed at creating an enabling policy and regulatory environment to help develop a shelf of PPP infrastructure projects across sectors that support sustainable economic growth and equitable access to basic services. As a result, a significant part within the Government of Bangladesh has learnt about PPPs and become aware of key benefits that may be brought by PPP procurement. Despite a slow and limited utilization of funds, the Activity resulted in the ongoing development of a urban utility project in the field of bulk water supply, sanitation and solid waste management.
