PPIAF’s activities are demand-driven. They originate from the needs of our clients—recipient government agencies working with the World Bank Group. PPIAF’s five-year Renew Strategy for FY23–FY27 focuses on accelerating universal access to climate-smart, resilient, affordable, and inclusive infrastructure through increased private sector participation. We are well on the way to reaching a new, ambitious target—where climate co-benefits comprise at least 70% of our portfolio. PPIAF focuses on increasing private participation in infrastructure through PPPs and sub-sovereign financing in 30 impact countries.
